SUNY Schenectady, Schenectady County and Aquatic Center form Partnership

The Center

This state-of-the-art facility will provide swimming instruction for all ages, offer aquatic therapy and exercise, and serve as a host for local, regional, and national aquatic competitions. The Capital Region Aquatic Center will save lives through Learn-to-Swim programs, increase the health of the population in our region, and draw thousands of athletes and spectators each year.

The Campaign

A capital campaign is currently underway to ensure that our region benefits from the growing sports tourism industry by bringing this world-class aquatic facility to our area.
