Capital Region Aquatic Center is a regional facility that will benefit the entire community! We will host events for all aquatic sports; bringing thousands of athletes, coaches, and spectators to the Capital Region every year.

Our Competition Pool

The Competition Pool will be Olympic Size (50m by 25yards) and the Diving Well will be 25yards by 25yards with a variety of spring-boards and platforms.  There will seating for 1200 spectators and at least 600 athletes.

Economic Growth

Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) in North Carolina opened in 2011.  In its first year of operation it attracted 36 meets, drawing over 120,000 people to the region and generating over $41 million for the local economy. 

Competitions

Competitions like ones held at GAC will come to the Capital Region Aquatic Center.  The facility is designed to comply with all aquatic sport governing body competition requirements.  The Aquatic Center will have the ability to host USA Swimming, USA Diving, Masters’ Swimming, USA Synchro, USA Water Polo, YMCA, Collegiate and High School competitions.
